I became unemployed on November 1st so this past month I’ve been able to read more than I usually do (when I’m not applying for jobs and such of course), which means I’ve been able to read a total of 10 books in November. It’s definitely more than I normally read, so that’s great. I have a chance of removing a chunk of my never-ending TBR pile on my shelves.
In November I joined a Danish read-a-long for the reboot of the Danish YA Sci-Fi series, Spektrum, an incredible and intricate series about a group of teenagers who acquire unique powers as well as the ability to travel through time. It’s a great series and I hope it will get translated into English one day. I joined late so I had to catch up by speed reading the first two books (which was quite easy because I was hooked instantly) and was able to follow the reading schedule for book 3 and now 4 (though I finished book 4 yesterday and we weren’t meant to finish before Sunday… whoops).
The read-a-long books were gifted to me by the publisher as review copies. Two other Danish books I read were also review copies sent by the authors. Both were quite short and fast reads.
The rest I read were “normal” books and were all romance.
My favourite of the romance reads was hands down, no questions asked…
The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren.
I mean… I LOVED IT!
I know I’ll have to write a review where I can go on raving about it, but seriously, if you haven’t read that one, I demand that you go and read it, right now! It’s a hate-to-love story set in gorgeous Hawaii and is cute, funny and passionate.
Down below I have listed my star rating for each book I read in November. If there is a review I’ll link it down there as well (I believe there are only Danish reviews right now).
