January Book Haul (Birthday Book Haul)

The first month of 2020 is over. Wow. I’m worried that this year will just fly right on by. But one good thing about this month was that it was my birthday. And not just any birthday. Two weeks ago I turned 30!!
I did get one book and the rest of the books I got this month was my birthday present from me to me. It’s important to self-indulge, though I’m sure none of you book lovers have any trouble with that πŸ™‚

So let’s check out what I got for my birthday.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Hufflepuff edition
by J.K. Rowling

My aunt and cousins gave this to me, though it was the paperback version so I exchanged it for the hardback because those are the ones I collect. And I just think it is absolutely stunning. This is my favourite book in the series.

A Heart So Fierce and Broken
by Brigid Kemmerer

I had to get this because A Curse so Dark and Lonely was probably my favourite read of 2019. I am currently reading this one.

The Great Ex-Scape
by Jo Watson

I am a Jo Watson collector. I now have all of her brilliant Destination Love books and I cannot wait to read this one. I’ve heard it’s so funny. I highly recommend her books!

Children of Virtue and Vengance
by Tomi Adeyemi

Children of Blood and Bone was such a fantastic book and amongst my favourite reads of 2019 so naturally, I needed to get my hands on the sequel.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Hufflepuff edition
by J.K. Rowling

I had just gotten PoA when I saw that Goblet of Fire was about to be released as well and I figured why not… so I ordered that one as well, but sadly I haven’t had a chance to take a photo of it so you must make do with a regular photo.

What books did you get in January? Any you can recommend?
