I didn’t read all that much here in December, but I managed to finish four books and without further ado, here they are:
The Christmasaurus and the Winter Witch
by Tom Fletcher
This is such a lovely children’s book about Christmas, family and friendship. It’s the sequel and is just as heartwarming as the first one.

The Novice
by Taran Matharu
I’ve been wanting to read this book for a while as it started out on Wattpad (where I write atm) and now I have finally gotten the first three books in the series and I really loved this. It’s a great story that I highly recommend to all fantasy lovers.
♦
Only Ever Yours
by Louise O’Neill
I had my difficulties with this one and I struggled to finish it. It was slow, barely going anywhere and could be very triggering for a lot of people. It was an interesting ending, but couldn’t make up for the issues throughout. I don’t really get the point of this book to be honest.

Dream Maker 1 – Paris
by Audrey Carlan
This was a nice and quick story, but already I preferred the Calendar Girl series to this one. I suppose it’s the whole “put yourself in the character’s shoes” that I’m finding it hard with this time around being it is from a guy’s perspective. But I’m giving the rest a chance.
I’d love to know what books you read in December and which one you enjoyed the most.
