My December Book Haul

December has come to a close, Christmas is over and the new year and new decade is nigh. As for books this month, I actually only bought 1 for myself, but I was so kindly gifted 6 books – 1 for Christmas, 1 for review and 4 in an advent calendar sent to me by the publisher.

So the advent calendar gifted to me by the Danish publisher, Gyldendal, contained 4 books and I was blown away by their kindness and consideration to send this lovely holiday gift to us bloggers. The books are all in Danish and I have only read one of them (you’ll be quick to guess which one) so I’m looking forward to reading the rest in the new year.

So here are the 4 books from the advent calendar:

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire illustrated version
by J.K. Rowling

Looking for Alaska
by John Green

Trinkets
by Kirsten Smith

Styrke – Karana Galaksen 1
by Cecilie Eken

The next book is the one I purchased for myself. I found it cheap on Book Depository and even though I haven’t read the first in the series, I decided to get this one anyway.

The Wicked King
by Holly Black

The next book was sent to me for review by the publisher. It’s the 3rd and final omnibus of the Dream Maker series with the final 4 books, but as I have not read the first two volumes I have started the first one on my phone.

Dream Maker 3
by Audrey Carlan

And the final book from this month is the one I got for Christmas by my wonderful friend, Rie. It is very clearly a holiday book, but I’m sure I’ll enjoy it regardless of the season I read it in.

Christmas at Mistletoe Cove
by Holly Martin

I’d love to know what books you got in December.
Did you get any for Christmas?
