August TBR

So these past couple of months I have been really struggling to follow my TBR. In fact, I have not completed a TBR in a long time and maybe it’s because I don’t really know what I am in the mood for lately. Is it fantasy, is it a rom com? I can’t really tell when I set out to make my TBR, so this month I’m just gonna say F*** my TBR and read what I want.

I’m currently reading two books: an ARC from NetGalley that I plan on finishing and I just started on Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston, which I’m really enjoying so far.

This weekend I also finished Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi, so my TBR is technically well under way (though unspecified).

Another book I might start on this month is Finale by Stephanie Garber or maybe The Bride Test by Helen Hoang. I recently ordered both of these books as well as a few others and they have finally arrived.

So I do not have a set TBR list this month, which is why there’s no usual stack photo for you to see so instead I thought I’d show you my newest reading accessory. I hope to spend a lot of time reading here. What do you think?

The chair is a Strandmon from IKEA and I have been wanting to get one for years and last week I found one used that was more than half-priced including the footstool! And it was in the grey colour that I wanted. It was meant to be! I can’t wait to spend my reading time in it.
