How are we already in July?!?!?!?! More than half of 2019 have already gone by and I feel like I’m behind on so many things..
June was a rather quiet month when it came to books.
I did not buy a single book the whole month, so there will be no book haul post, which is why I decided to just put my wrap up and tbr in one combined post to make it easier.
In June, I managed to read two books.
June wrap up
The first book I read was Forest of a Thousand Lanterns by Julie C. Dao
This book was included in a previous Fairyloot box and is an Asian Fantasy story that really intrigued me. A review is on its way, but I’ll just tell you now that I really truly enjoyed it and I am looking forward to the sequel.
The next book I read, which wasn’t even on my TBR, was Big Bones by Laura Dockrill. This is sort of a Food diary for a British overweight young girl called BlueBelle and we follow her and her life throughout a summer. It was an alright book, but not too thrilling or exciting.
Wow, yeah, I really haven’t been very book-active. Hopefully that’ll change this month.
July TBR
My July TBR is not yet set in stone. I have picked three books (two are from last month’s TBR and then the last one is the one I’m currently reading). But I have two weeks of holiday later this month so I don’t know if I’ll be reading more than these three:
Hele vejen til dig by Tina Nevala and Henrik Karlsson
This book was part of last month’s TBR as well, but I am currently only 1 chapter in. This is a review copy from the publisher.
Rilou By by Tina Lynge
This book was also part of last month’s TBR, which I didn’t have a chance to start. This is a review copy from the author.
All That She Can See by Carrie Hope Fletcher
This is the book that I am currently reading and I am just over 1/3 of the way through.
So yeah, June was not my month book-wise, but hopefully I have left that slump behind me with last month and will now move forwards and read some more.
Looks like great reads you have done and will do in July. How is Carries book so far? I really liked On The Other Side from her and I do have the other books waiting in my shelf. Planning on reading them on my vacation this year 😀

I finished it last night and I actually really liked it. I liked it more than On the Other Side, which I struggled with at times. But my favorite of hers is When the Curtain Falls.

I liked the dreamy part of On The Other Side, such a unique take on the whole subject. I can´t wait to read the other 2 books. I do have them both and the biography at home already, I just adore Carrie as a person 😀

I enjoyed the biography as well and yeah, she’s an amazing rolemodel for so many young girls. I really wanted to have seen her in Heathers.

She really is. I had the luck to meet her a few time at the Les Miserables stage door and she really is the sweetest. Young girls reallt are lucky to have such a great and inspiring woman to look up to! 😀

I would love to meet her. Years ago, on Myspace, I asked permission to use on of her drawings as a tattoo 😊
