June TBR

A brand spanking new month is upon us. Summer is in the air and I have decided on a new TBR for the month of June and I am here to share it with you all!

I just started on Forest of a Thousand Lanterns by Julie C. Dao. This is a book I received in a Fairyloot subscription box a while back and now I am in the mood for some fantasy.
I think I will try and read a Fairyloot book every month to get through my Fairyloot TBR pile.

The top two books are both Danish and both were sent to me as review copies.

Riluo City by Tina Lynge is the first book in her Blue Phoenix series. It has gotten some mixed reviews, but nonetheless, I will give it a go as she was kind enough to send me a copy for review.

Sacrificing his life to protect his best friend was a decision which Hui Yue did not regret, yet who could have known that death was not the final destination, but rather the beginning of a new adventure into a world filled with demonic beasts and martial arts cultivation.

Hui Yue soon found that within this world, strength was what determined your future accomplishments and there was no space for the weak.
Embarking upon this new life, Hui Yue meets friends, experience betrayal, and starts his own journey of cultivation to overcome his limits and become strong.

The second Danish book is Hele vejen til dig (All the way to you) by Tiina Nevalia and Henrik Karlsson. This was sent to me by the Danish publisher, People’s Press.

It is translated from Swedish and is about a Liv and Jens meeting several times and it becomes harder and harder to keep away and do what is right.
(horrible synopsis, I know).

What will you be reading this month? Let’s chat about it in the comments.
